The menu that I introduce to you is The Soul Food, The food of the soul, is a gastronomic journey to few regions of Italy, where each region retains its own soul and tradition.
We started from the tasting of Pecorino from different Italian places, typical cured, sheep cheese that occupies an important place in the Italian gastronomic tradition, served with jams made with products from my own family's field in Puglia, the region where I came from, and products of Calabria , as for example the Peperoncino, a world heritage site of this fascinating region that also preserves an authentic gastronomic tradition.
We continue with bruschette which are 100% homemade bread skewers with fresh homemade pates , made with top quality products.
The first dish wants to be a tribute to Catalonia, with the introduction of cannelloni that only Catalans can make in the most exquisite ways. Cannelloni with pumpkin, seasonal vegetables and other very peculiar and exotic ingredients.
We will end this trip with the protagonist of the Italian dessert: the traditional Tiramisu with a touch of freshness thanks to the cookies of the famous Amaretto with toasted almonds, personally picked from our almonds trees in Puglia.

My love for food goes back to my childhood, when smells of the traditional cuisine of the grandmother delighted my sense of smell.
I'll never forget the winter Sundays when the aroma of the ragout filled the house, or the Pasta al Forno-recently baked and still smoking with crunchy bits of maccheroni on top... and my cousins and I would always get in trouble for stealing a few bites :)
This mix of flavors, tastes, emotions and memories has made my passion for cooking emerge, and I think that Eatwith allows those like myself to put in practice this passion, even with few resources. I also have a deep affection for traveling, and I use my trips as an opportunity to research new flavors and spices such as cinnamon, curcuma and ginger. They not only combine well with traditional Italian food, but are also extremely beneficial for one’s health!
