Join us on our beautiful terraza in the heart of the Born district of Barcelona. Having worked at Chez Panisse in California and Moro in London, I love to make simple food with big flavours and always use local, organic produce. My partner Erika has lots of experience as a server and she will look after you as I'm busy in the kitchen or out on the terrace cooking on the grill. We really want you to relax and enjoy the terrace and Barcelona's night time atmosphere. The food is very vegetable driven, though I do cook meat and fish as well. I am very happy to create a totally vegetarian or gluten free meal on request.
We are working to use many of the vegetables that we are growing on our rooftop, though as the plants are relatively new we are mostly taking advantage of the abundant herbs!
A word of warning, we are on the 5th floor and there's no lift.

Mató with lemon and parsley
A fresh Catalan cheese mixed with lemon and parsley served on a toast
Beetroot macerated with sherry vinegar and oil served in a lettuce cup with radishes
Cannellini bean and garlic pureé
Served on a toast with fresh thyme
A mezze plate of labneh, roasted cauliflower, hazelnut dukkah, pickled carrots and lentils all served with a freshly grilled flatbread
,Braised lamb with spring vegetables
Shoulder of lamb lightly braised served with artichokes, peas and potatoes
Blood orange and almond cake
Served with softly whipped cream

I'm a professional cook from the north of England. I've cooked at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California, Ballymaloe in Ireland as well as Moro in London, among many other restaurants. The food I cook is always ingredient led. Local organic vegetables are the main event but I also love to cook meat and fish. The food I make is simple but has loads and loads of flavour.
