Cada domingo a las 21:00 empezamos la SOUL KITCHEN Jam Session Party, un concierto abierto, donde diferentes músicos se van subiendo al escenario del Hotel GENERATOR a improvisar sobre temas de Soul Funk y RnB. Un espacio precioso y amplio, para bailar, cenar, tomar unas copas…y participar en la música en directo.

PRIMER PASE: SOUL KITCHEN + Jam Session 21:00-22:45
Empezamos a las 21:00. La banda residente The Phunks, (Rufus Peligros, Fran Guillén, Giovanni Franzetti y Ro Llamazares, síguelos en IG en @thephunks) tocará unos temas para romper el hielo. Clasicos del Soul RnB de los años 60- Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Wilson Picket, Aretha Franklyn, Sam Cooke….Y haremos un hueco para hacer Jam contigo si te animas.

Descanso
Aprovecharemos para cenar algo de la SOUL KITCHEN que ofrece el menu del GENERATOR, Hamburguesas, alitas de pollo, etc. Cena con los músicos en un ambiente agradable. Habrá una mesa reservada en primera fila para los miembros de Meet Up.

SEGUNDO PASE: THE PHUNKS 23:15-01:00
Después de cenar, a las 23:15, empezamos un segundo pase de Funk, Disco Funk y RnB de los 70 y hasta los primeros 80. Kool and the Gang, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Bill Withers, Chic….y por supuesto tendremos un espacio para ti si te apetece tocar o cantar con nosotros.

Tenemos batería, bajo, guitarra, teclado y micrófonos, y puedes usarlos, pero puedes traerte tu instrumento si quieres.

Cuando llegas, te apuntas en la lista, y cuando abrimos la jam te vamos llamando para tocar al menos 2 temas…¡Tenemos casi cuatro horas para tocar bien a gusto!

FAQ
¿ES necesario ser músico y participar para venir a la Jam? No, la mayoría del público viene a bailar, disfrutar de la música y hacer amigos, etc.

¿Tengo que llevar mi propio instrumento o micrófono? No es necesario si cantas, o tocas guitarra, batería, bajo, o teclado. Si tocas otro instrumento sí deberías traerlo.

«Every Sunday at 9:00 PM, we start the Jam Session Party, an open concert where different musicians take the stage to improvise on funk, soul, and RnB themes.
FIRST SET 9:00 PM – 10:45 PM
We kick off at 9:00 PM. The resident band, The Phunks (Rufus Peligros, Fran Guillén, Giovanni Franzetti, and Ro Llamazares follow us in IG @thephunks), will play some tunes to break the ice. Classic Soul and RnB hits from the 60s by artists like Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Wilson Picket, Aretha Franklin, and Sam Cooke. We’ll also make room for a jam if you feel like joining.
Intermission
Take the opportunity to grab something to eat from the SOUL KITCHEN, which offers items from the GENERATOR menu, such as hamburgers, chicken wings, etc.
SECOND SET 11:15 PM – 1:00 AM
After dinner, at 11:15 PM, we’ll start the second set featuring Funk, Disco Funk, and RnB from the 70s through the early 80s. Expect songs by Kool and the Gang, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Bill Withers, Chic, and more. Of course, we’ll have a slot for you if you feel like playing or singing with us.
We have drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and microphones, and you can use them, but feel free to bring your own instrument if you prefer.
When you arrive, sign up on the list, and when we open the jam, we’ll call you to play at least 2 songs. We have almost four hours to enjoy playing together!

FAQ
Do I need to be a musician and participate to come to the Jam? No, most of the audience comes to dance, enjoy the music, make friends, etc.
Do I have to bring my own instrument or microphone? It’s not necessary if you sing, or play guitar, drums, bass, or keyboard. If you play another instrument, you should bring it.
