As you probably know Jewish cuisine is still determined by a large number of religious regulations which makes this world even more fabulous for us. My relationship with Jewish people and culture started more than 10 years ago when I got to know my husband.
Come and taste the great recipes of Jewish cuisine and join a multi-religious group. Learn about the history of Central European Jews as well as about the bustling Jewish life in Budapest.
This event is similar to a family dinner: common meals, chatting and friendly atmosphere. This is a two-and-a-half-hour program with authentic Jewish 4-course menu at a private place where you can meet guests from other countries at my dining table and you can make new friends.
The dinner includes:
- an unique 4-course dinner (starter, soup, main course, dessert),
- homemade Jewish dishes by family recipes,
- home-style flavours,
- drinks (plum palinka, Hungarian wine, homemade soft drink, mineral water, coffee, tea),
- a really special gastro-touristic program in my private flat,
- two-and-a half-hour private dining program with a lot of interesting stories and information about Jewish food, customs and life,
a historical place in the Jewish Quarter (7th District in Budapest).
The dinner is going to start at 6pm and finish at around 8.30pm.
You are kindly expected arrive a few minutes earlier.

I am a professional cook and a really culinary fanatic. I love cooking, baking and catering. A long time ago I learnt to cook from my mother, then I have attended several cooking courses but I only cooked and baked for my friends at home. Then I started the professional cook school and passed the exam. I learnt and worked a lot, it was hard work, but I enjoyed every moment of it. (Okay, there were some days in summer when the temperature was more than 40 degrees Celsius in the restaurant’s kitchen and I felt it was crazy). During my practice time I worked in SOFITEL Budapest Chain Bridge Hotel and ARANY KAVIAR Russian fine-dining restaurant. I met a lot of fantastic chefs and teachers who helped my development. I use this knowledge in my own kitchen.
I organize different culinary programs in Budapest (private dining, cooking course, market tour with cooking, wine tasting). I prepare Hungarian and Jewish dishes.
I would like to welcome you to my flat for a real Hungarian private program. Come and join my unique experience for a few hours in Budapest.
