Food markets are the real heart of a city and it's one of the best things in the world to smell bunches of aromatic herbs, fresh and wet vegetables early in the morning...I love gathering together around the big white table friends who appreciate sharing good food and new experiences. I have traveled extensively throughout Japan where I learned numerous recipes. I'm inspired by English and Scandinavian new chefs as well and I specialize in fusion food, with a distinctive French and Mediterranean touch. When abroad, I can't help turning into a relentless explorer of new and off the road restaurants! Bretagne, Provence, Corse, Parisian brasseries...This is a French food tour! I'm a chef with my own catering company, happy now to cater for venues and companies such as Café Elephant Paname, luxury brands, magazines, Fashion Week shows and photo production teams. I opened Mercy Fanny 5 years ago after several stays in Japan, where my eyes and my palate got familiar with different shapes, colors and tastes. Aesthetics became very important in food. As a former Art Director, I'm mindful of details and presentation which led me to be a food consultant for several restaurants and cafés in Paris. I organize cocktail dinner parties. I was in charge of the trendy Gaité Lyrique brunch for two years, collaborated with Hotel Bohême for whom I run the tearoom, with Hotel du Nord on Canal Saint-Martin where I write the menus time to time and organize events. I can’t eat anything without smelling it before and I always spend abroad 3 days a month to discover new food markets. I'm fortuned & proud to be a "Cool Cousin" as well, as I love to share my passion for French Art de Vivre through unique and unusual experiences. Check those links !
