New+Bold Vietnamese Flavors in Brooklyn Dinner

Vietnamese food doesn’t need to be destination food. Pham-to-Table is a new concept that spotlights Vietnamese street food with authentic and fresh ingredients. As children of Vietnamese immigrants, we are on a mission to surface the diversity of our cuisine and share the bold--sweet, salty and tangy flavors--rooted in the cooking of our childhood. Our concept is simple. Pham to Table highlights lesser-known yet incredibly flavorful regional Vietnamese cuisine in an approachable and contemporary menu. Our food is all about big bold flavors that are salty, sweet, herbaceous, savory, and full of umami. Starters bánh bèo—shrimp cakes fresh shrimp, dried shrimp, scallions, fried shallots, fish sauce vinaigrette gỏi đu đủ—papaya salad with homemade beef jerky green papaya, beef jerky, vietnamese mint, roasted peanuts, soy vinaigrette gỏi cuốn nem nướng—grilled pork summer rolls pork, vermicelli, cucumber, lettuce, fried wrappers, mint, cilantro ,MEALS chả cá thăng long—tumeric dill white fish fresh tilapia, dill, turmeric, vietnamese ginger marinade, vermicelli, green lettuce ,DESSERTS chè chuối—banana tapioca dessert fresh bananas, tapioca pearls, coconut milk, sesame seeds, and crushed peanuts

Evento de Brandon

I grew up in a big family -- seven aunts, thirty cousins, and four siblings -- all in ten mile radius. Food was, and continues to be, what brings us all together. When I moved to New York five years ago, I searched far and wide but couldn’t find Vietnamese food that represented the authenticity and depth of the cuisine that was a cornerstone of my upbringing. Rather than settle, I picked up the phone and found every opportunity to train side-by-side with my mom and aunties. Now several FaceTimes later, Pham to Table is the accidental child of love and culture passed down from generations of my family. My name is Brandon and I am excited to share the home cooking, Vietnamese palette, and heart that is Pham to Table.
