LIMITED SEASONAL EXPERIENCE: Calçotada!
Meet new people in our hidden spot in the Gothic Quarter the most Catalan way possible, with a CALÇOTADA!
Calçots are a type of green onion or scallion that grow between November and April, they are a very traditional and seasonal activity in the Catalan cuisine to eat with friends and family!
How does this work?
Step 1: we will make the calçots' traditional sauce to go with it, "Romesco".
Step 2: We gather around the fire, in our case a Josper grill (best grills and ovens of the world), we barbecue the calçots and other vegetables (If you'd like the meat we can arrange that).
Step 3: dip it into the sauce and straight to your mouth!
We will provide local wine and Sangria to drink it with a "Porrón", another Catalan tradition!
I work together with two famous chefs in Barcelona, who just opened a new exclusive restaurant in the city together! One of them is Quim de la Boqueria from the Boqueria Market in the center! We want to offer a lot of different fun and unique activities in an amazing hidden and historic space, where Picasso actually spent a lot of time in!
